The Medical Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns via phone and in-person
  • Assist physicians and other medical personnel with examination and treatment of patients
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records
  • Support the office clinic under the direction of the Nurse Manager
  • Provide patient education and triage clinical care calls
  • Document patient information in the electronic medical record
  • Follow practice policies and procedures for appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and other job responsibilities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish) and prior Gastroenterology experience are highly valued.
