About the Role

This role is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients admitted to the Medical Cardiology unit. The successful candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders and administer medications as needed.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document all patient interactions and interventions in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current RN license in the state of New York.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a medical cardiology setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
