Job Description:

As a Senior Database Architect at Integrated Resources, you will be responsible for designing and implementing database management systems, standards, and guidelines. You will establish quality assurance for database deliverables, including conceptual design, logical database, capacity planning, and data loading plans. You will also communicate database design and evaluate and install database management systems. Your expertise will be essential in devising, negotiating, and defending database tables and fields. You will adapt business requirements and develop data, database specifications, and table attributes for applications. You will determine the appropriateness of data for storage and optimum storage organization. You will also determine how tables relate to each other and how fields interact within tables for a relational model.

Responsibilities:

Establish database management systems, standards, and guidelines
Design and implement database solutions
Develop data, database specifications, and table attributes for applications
Determine the appropriateness of data for storage and optimum storage organization

Qualifications:

Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or related technical subject area or equivalent combination of education and experience
7+ years relevant work experience in the Data Engineering field
Experience building scalable and high-performance cloud data lake solutions
Experience working on technologies like Spark and Airflow
Preferred platform experience of working either in Databricks/AWS for building big data pipelines
Experience with source control tools such as GitHub and related CI/CD processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical approach
