Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordination Specialist to join our team at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF). This role is essential in supporting project and production teams by offering comprehensive project management assistance for both new and ongoing initiatives within the Program Management Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of projects, ensuring efficient resource management and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor project performance through the development and reporting of key metrics, and evaluate change control requests.
  • Facilitate the preparation of regular project reviews with management and stakeholders to assess progress and performance.
  • Contribute to financial oversight by tracking budgets, summarizing performance data, and preparing reports that compare actual performance against planned objectives.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is required; a Master's degree is preferred. Candidates should possess experience in project management, production operations, or construction projects. Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and Access is essential. Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is highly desirable. A background in Industrial Engineering or related disciplines is advantageous but not mandatory.
