We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wine and Spirits Merchandiser to join our team at Restaurant Depot. As a Wine and Spirits Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the merchandising activities of all wines and spirits within our warehouses. You will work closely with our Regional and Branch Managers to improve merchandising standards and provide exceptional customer service to our business customers.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandising and Sales: Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest wine and spirits trends, products, and industry developments to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our business customers, responding to their needs and preferences, and building strong relationships to drive loyalty and retention.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with our Logistics team to manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and reduce carrying costs.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, particularly within the unique cold storage environment.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer service within a cold storage context.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or hospitality.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, such as wine and spirits sales, marketing, or merchandising.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal associates. Strong product knowledge and merchandising skills, with the ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
