About the Role

As a key member of our dynamic team at Georgia-Pacific, we are seeking an experienced Recycled Commodity Trader - Supply Chain Specialist to join our Plastic Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art facilities, driving growth and innovation in the plastics industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the growth of our plastics division with a focus on supply chain development
  • Identify and establish new supply locations to meet our expanding demand
  • Collaborate with our experienced sales team to secure incremental plastic supply
  • Utilize internal capabilities to create innovative structures that deliver long-term value
  • Travel to existing and potential accounts across the country to grow your book of business (approximately 30% travel expected)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, sales, and/or trading plastics
  • Established relationships with suppliers or customers in the plastic space

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Dynamics experience
  • Post-consumer or post-industrial plastic experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000-$130,000 per year, with eligibility for variable pay. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, ADD, disability, retirement, paid vacation/time off, educational assistance, and more.
