Housekeeper Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Facilities team at the JCC of Mid-Westchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment within our Community Center. Responsibilities: * Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including floors, windows, and fixtures * Prepare rooms for activities, including furniture arrangement and equipment setup * Remove and empty rubbish cans and other refuse * Assist with snow removal and salting * Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Requirements: * 2+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related field * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong knowledge of cleaning products and best practices * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders Working Conditions: * Work schedule: Mon-Thurs 2 PM - 10 PM, Sunday 8 AM - 4 PM * Must be available to work a flexible schedule Benefits: * Competitive salary: $35,000 - $45,000 * Opportunity to work in a dynamic and engaging community center About Us: The JCC of Mid-Westchester is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community through cultural, social, educational, and recreational programs.
