Salary
This position offers a competitive salary of $88,000 annually, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the health of all animals in the county shelters. This will include determining the nature of and treating health conditions in animals medically and/or surgically, as well as performing spay/neuter operations, euthanasia procedures, and necropsies as required. Additionally, the veterinarian will maintain and monitor controlled drug supplies, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with state statutes and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold licensure as a Veterinarian with the Missouri Veterinary Medical Board or a Provisional Missouri License. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits
