Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our collection team, you will be responsible for safely operating a rear load truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables to our disposal sites.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a rear load truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collect and transport waste and recyclables to our disposal sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Interact with customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
  • DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
