The estimated salary for this position is $330,000 per year.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced obstetric and gynecological hospitalist physician to join our team at Women's Health Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Duties
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to obstetric and gynecological patients admitted to the hospital, including patients with obstetric complications, gynecological conditions, and postoperative care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, and manage the ongoing care of hospitalized patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Manage labor and delivery for obstetric patients admitted to the hospital, including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, conducting deliveries, and managing obstetric emergencies.
  • Collaborate with hospitalist teams, obstetricians, gynecologists, nurses, midwives, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for hospitalized patients.
Required Qualifications
  • A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Residency training in obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) from an accredited residency program.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • A current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Arizona.
  • DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
