Position Overview:
As an Aircraft Ground Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to clients requiring aircraft refueling and towing.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate aircraft arrivals by greeting pilots, assisting with parking, and positioning wheel chocks as necessary.
2. Tow aircraft to designated service areas or hangars, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
3. Refuel aircraft with the appropriate fuel type, adhering to all regulations and FAA guidelines.
4. Provide additional services to customers, such as handling luggage, arranging local transportation, and maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
5. Relay customer service requests to the customer service team effectively.
6. Conduct facility inspections to ensure hangar doors are secured and equipment is properly stored.
7. Perform basic maintenance checks on fueling vehicles, including oil checks and fueling of ground support equipment.
8. Ensure smooth transitions between shifts by communicating effectively with team members.
9. Maintain cleanliness and organization in customer service areas and line office.
10. On occasion, fuel commercial aircraft at airport terminals as required.
11. Undertake other tasks as assigned by supervisory personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Must meet Airport Authority requirements for badge issuance without ramp restrictions.
- Previous experience in aviation fueling is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
- Occasional walking, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently.
- Regular exposure to shop conditions, engine noise, aircraft exhaust, and seasonal weather.
Additional Skills:
- Must possess a valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Local travel may be required based on customer needs.
