As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our collaborative physician and other treatment providers to deliver comprehensive care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a PMHNP, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medication, and developing treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise and empathy will make a significant difference in the lives of our clients, and we are excited about the opportunity to have you on board.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments to determine the best course of treatment for each patient.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medication, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for our clients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that incorporate medication and therapy, working closely with our team to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all relevant medical care regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide exceptional patient care, including crisis intervention and education on medication, symptoms, and illness.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Illinois.
  • Full Practice Authority (FPA) to practice independently.
  • Previous experience working with children, adolescents, and adult patients in private practice is a plus, but not required.
