This combined role functions under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. The individual is responsible for processing patient information, communicating with the healthcare team, and providing patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Process patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate with healthcare team members to facilitate patient care
  • Provide patient care and support to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Assist with clerical activities and material acquisition to support unit operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
