We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist II - Clinical Specialist to join our team at UNC Therapy Services. This role is designed for a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 5 years of expertise in outpatient orthopedics. As a Clinical Specialist, you will provide high-quality, one-on-one patient care, participate in clinical mentorship, and contribute to team-wide growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert, evidence-based rehabilitative care to patients with orthopedic, sports, recreational, and occupational injuries, as well as geriatrics and post-surgical recovery.
- Deliver personalized, one-on-one care through 45-minute evaluations and current and advanced treatment techniques.
- Support clinical mentorship initiatives, including mentoring physical therapy residents, onboarding new employees, and precepting students.
- Participate in committees, task forces, and initiatives that address process improvements, quality care, and program development.
- Perform in-depth diagnostic assessments and utilize advanced testing methods to develop personalized care plans.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
- Five (5) years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, including one (1) year in the specialty field.
