Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Precision Security Team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide armed security services to our clients, including conducting foot patrols, mobile patrols, and responding to security incidents.
  • Interact with clients, patrons, guests, partners, coworkers, and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain situational awareness at all times and report any security concerns or incidents to management.
  • Deny access to unauthorized personnel and secure sites to prevent vandalism and theft.
  • Assist with emergencies and building evacuations, and utilize reporting systems and contacting appropriate parties for site situations.
  • Utilize closed-circuit camera systems and review footage to maintain awareness of the site and its property.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all activities within your site and utilize verbal judo to de-escalate situations.
  • Utilize minimal use of force unless the individual poses an imminent physical danger to themselves, someone else, or you.
  • Follow SOPs at assigned site and follow, communicate, and enforce local laws and regulations.
  • Be prepared to assist first responders in the event of a crisis or emergency.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pass required background check
  • Eligible to legally use a firearm
  • Previous firearm experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Pass drug screen
  • Able to work the posted hours without modification
Physical Requirements
  • Able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
  • Able to use/maintain/operate/manipulate firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
  • Able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
  • Able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course
  • Able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
  • Able to wear issued gear belt and exterior tactical vest for the entire duration of your assigned shift
Compensation

This position pays $23.00/hour-$29.00/hour, depending on the site. This is a W2 position. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits. Colorado is an at-will employment state.
