Job Description

Precision Security Team is a veteran-owned and operated company in the northern Colorado area, providing security services to various clients since 2018. As an Armed Security Officer with Precision Security Team, you will be responsible for assisting with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. You will be expected to uphold Precision Security Team's professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times, practicing and demonstrating our core values and code of conduct every day.

This position will involve working at multiple sites for different schools, with varying pay rates. You will be required to interact with clients, patrons, guests, partners, coworkers, and the public, maintaining situational awareness at all times. You will also be responsible for conducting foot patrols, mobile patrols, denying access to unauthorized personnel, securing your site, and preventing vandalism and theft.

You will be expected to utilize reporting systems and contacting appropriate parties for site situations, as well as utilizing closed-circuit camera systems and review footage to maintain awareness of the site and its property. You will also be required to maintain confidentiality of all activities within your site, utilizing verbal judo to de-escalate situations, and utilizing minimal use of force unless the individual poses an imminent physical danger to themselves, someone else, or you.

Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time. You will be required to follow SOPs at assigned site, follow, communicate, and enforce local laws and regulations, and be prepared to assist first responders in the event of a crisis or emergency.

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or GED
  • pass required background check
  • eligible to legally use a firearm
  • previous firearm experience
  • valid driver's license
  • clean driving record
  • Pass drug screen
  • able to work the posted hours without modification

Physical Requirements:

  • able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
  • ability to use/maintain/operate/manipulate firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
  • able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
  • able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course
  • able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift
  • able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
  • able to wear issued gear belt and exterior tactical vest for the entire duration of your assigned shift
