We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Medcor, Inc. as a Worksite Health Care Professional. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, working in an employer-based, occupational health clinic setting in Cambridge, MA.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent primary clinical care in an occupational and urgent care health clinic setting.
- Collaborate with the on-site medical team, on-site clinic manager, operational leadership, and oversight physician to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence-Based Medicine protocols.
- Build and maintain internal team relationships and support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
- Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings, documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR, and case management.
- Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong computer and technology skills, including EMR software.
- Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive and outgoing personality.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care.
- Relevant occupational health experience.
- Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, occupational health, or urgent care.
