About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Medcor, Inc. as a Worksite Health Care Professional. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, working in an employer-based, occupational health clinic setting in Cambridge, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent primary clinical care in an occupational and urgent care health clinic setting.
  • Collaborate with the on-site medical team, on-site clinic manager, operational leadership, and oversight physician to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence-Based Medicine protocols.
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships and support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
  • Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings, documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR, and case management.
Requirements
  • Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including EMR software.
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and outgoing personality.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant occupational health experience.
  • Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, occupational health, or urgent care.
