Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for various tasks that support the efficient operation of our warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble components of products correctly, efficiently, and with consistent quality work, following standardized work and quality standards.
  • Perform production and/or assembly of parts in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies.
  • Distinguish and correct, as needed, the quality of a welded, milled, pressed, or assembling process.
  • Learn and train in other areas of the company.
  • Pack parts into various containers as specified by a standard.
  • Adhere to and maintain 5S and lean manufacturing standards.
  • Perform additional duties not specifically outlined in this position description but as directed by the supervisor for the benefit of the company.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed.
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Mathematical Skills Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability.

Work Environment

This position is located in Norton Shores, MI, and the work hours are 12:00PM to 8:00PM. The dress code is shirts or t-shirts with sleeves, pants without holes or rips, and closed-toe and non-slip footwear only.
