About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Lead to join our team at DoorDash. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a shift of 2-10 employees through daily operations, ensuring a high-quality experience for customers, and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Operations Associates through their shift by ensuring the team is set up for success to work safely and productively.
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks, including receiving product from vendors, placing product in appropriate locations, preparing customer orders, and helping clean and organize work areas.
  • Delight Customers by making sure customer orders get delivered smoothly, maintaining menus and systems, communicating with customers when issues arise, and ensuring Dasher pickups go smoothly.
  • Facility Management by monitoring supplier deliveries, managing regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Help improve operations by contributing ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.
Requirements
  • You are self-motivated, positive, and a team player, with high integrity and a great attitude towards work.
  • You have a proven track record of success in a warehouse, retail, or restaurant environment.
  • You are able to be on your feet and move heavy products, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and are at least 18 years of age.
  • You are organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets, with flexibility in your schedule to work any day of the week across daily operating hours.
