Quality Assurance Technician

Overview

  • Execute assessments on electronic devices, components, and systems to confirm electrical connectivity and dependability.
  • Validate seal integrity through the implementation of leak testing protocols.
  • Conduct destructive evaluations to examine the bonding procedure and halt production if required.
  • Gather diagnostic data and input test yield statistics into the database.
  • Examine products for correct positioning, orientation, and any damages.
  • Perform diagnostic checks on testing equipment and carry out preventive maintenance.
  • May offer guidance and training to fellow team members.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with two years of relevant experience.

Competencies

Demonstrated proficiency in manufacturing processes and the ability to interpret instructions and convey information effectively.

Decision-Making Skills

Able to make independent decisions that influence team outcomes.

Supervisory Requirements

Requires a moderate level of supervision in the work setting.

Work Conditions

May involve exposure to repetitive tasks and occasional mechanical risks.

Physical Requirements

Involves standing, handling small parts, and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
