Job Summary:
Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Vocational Nurse to join our team in a clinic setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and nurse practitioners to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ambulatory nursing care to patients, including assessment, intervention, and education
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform daily clinical duties, adhering to established policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing
- Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience in a clinic or office setting, or equivalent
