We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Application Specialist to join our team at Siemens Digital Industries Software.

About the Role:

  • As a Technical Application Specialist, you will be responsible for developing expertise in semiconductor and electrical systems solutions.
  • You will work with customers on integrated circuit design and verification, PCB design and manufacturing solutions, cable harness tools, and embedded software.
  • Collaboration with technical marketing, product support, and sales organizations is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be involved in a structured training program focusing on developing expertise in semiconductor and electrical systems solutions.
  • Strong understanding of custom IC layout, physical verification, semiconductor manufacturing process, lithographic patterning, Caliber DRC/LVS, C/Tcl/Python programming skills is required.
  • Exposure to Linux platforms, networking, and running software across multi-machine/multi-CPU grid applications is also necessary.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a focus on semiconductors is mandatory.
  • Our ideal candidate has experience working with customers and can communicate complex technical information effectively.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $111,000 - $131,000 per year.
  • Eligibility for variable pay of up to 3%.
