High-Performance System Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Performance System Integration Specialist to join our team at ESS, Inc. In this role, you will play a critical part in constructing and integrating plumbing, electrical, and sub-assemblies of large battery systems.
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and hard-working individual who is responsible for constructing and assembling complex system components. As a High-Performance System Integration Specialist, you will work closely with our engineering team to improve system assembly processes and ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities- Construct, assemble, and leak-check PVC plumbing assemblies.
- Install electrical conduit and junction boxes according to schematics.
- Connect cables to other electrical assemblies per specifications.
- Use hand or powered tools for construction and assembly of PVC plumbing and electrical parts.
- Operate drill press, miter saw, grinders, table saw, and other equipment as required.
- Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment to evaluate performance of assemblies and record results.
- Work with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to improve system assembly process and quality.
- Perform in-process quality control inspections to ensure quality of work performed and functionality of components and/or modules.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, technical discipline).
- Ability to follow job-specific standards and safety protocols.
- Experience with data collection and entry.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and ability to prepare and terminate cables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to fluently read and write English, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to wear Personal Protection Equipment according to OSHA rules and regulations.
As a High-Performance System Integration Specialist at ESS, Inc., you can expect a competitive salary, $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including company-assisted medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), generous PTO accrual, and 8 paid holidays.
