Position Summary:
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining motor and control circuitry for our equipment and facilities. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Efficiency: Work effectively at the designated skill level, ensuring throughput and timely delivery. Adhere to current wiring time standards and propose improvements for future efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to the National Electric Code (NEC) by reviewing documentation prior to wiring tasks. Process work orders according to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to develop process enhancements and resolve electrical issues encountered in industrial wiring. Occasional travel may be required for installations or upgrades.
- Professional Conduct: Set a positive example in the workplace by maintaining professionalism, organizing tools and materials, and assisting in training initiatives.
- Quality Management: Contribute to Total Quality Management (TQM) objectives by focusing on product quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
A two-year certification from a trade school or equivalent experience as an apprentice is required.
