Busser Job Description

At STK Steakhouse, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare beverages to maintain quality standards consistently.
  • Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
  • Promptly greet guests and bring water to tables.
  • Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course.
  • Clean table tops, chairs, and booths between seatings.
  • Check the floor and clean as required, resetting and arranging tabletops.
  • Clear tables after guests, taking tableware to the dish room and placing silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
  • Inspect assigned restrooms every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests, communicating with servers and hostesses to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
  • Assist servers with food delivery, especially during peak periods.
  • Thank guests as they leave.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Work on your feet for long periods and lift more than 20 pounds.
  • Carry trays and stack plates.
  • Perform all duties while following health department sanitation requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • No consumption of alcoholic beverages while working.
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays.
