We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our cutting-edge Interventional Radiology team at Recruitz Staffing.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in a variety of interventional procedures, from diagnostic angiography to complex embolizations and stent placements
- Operate advanced imaging equipment during procedures
- Prepare patients for interventional procedures and monitor their condition throughout
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with medical devices and supplies
- Administer contrast media and medications under physician supervision
- Implement radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency procedures
- Stay current with advances in interventional radiology techniques and technologies
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography
- ARRT certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in radiologic technology, with at least 1 year in interventional radiology
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
- AA or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., CT, MRI)
- Experience with advanced interventional procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience
