Job Title: Police Officer

Join the City of Fairfield Police Department as a Police Officer and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment for the community.

Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Police Officer. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, preventing crime, and protecting life and property. You will work in partnership with the community to promote a high quality of life and provide superior police services.

Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence to solve cases
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and best practices
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs to build trust and relationships with the community
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in criminal justice or a related field preferred
  • Valid Ohio driver's license required
  • Must be at least 21 years old and not yet 35 years old at the time of appointment
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
