Position Overview:
The Facility Protection Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing security operations at our facility. This position encompasses oversight of security initiatives, program assessments, inspections, and personnel security, ensuring that all activities align with our commitment to a proactive security culture. The role demands exceptional multitasking abilities, focusing on achieving results while effectively managing and prioritizing various projects concurrently.
In collaboration with senior leadership across different sectors, you will facilitate coordination with Program Management, proposal teams, Human Resources, Facilities, and other stakeholders to uphold compliance with both corporate and governmental security regulations.
- Support the C6ISR Lines of Business by working closely with the Program team across multiple business domains.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive security strategies that encompass all facets of the Security Program, including Physical Security, Cyber Security, Plant Protection, and Crisis Management.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) security protocols, including relevant policies and procedures.
- Proactive individual capable of navigating a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
- Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations related to the DoD security framework.
- Familiarity with NISPOM/32 CFR Part 117 and associated policies regarding Personnel Security and Physical Security.
- Possession of an Active Top Secret Clearance with a recent Investigation or CV date.
- Prior experience as a Facility Security Officer or Alternate Facility Security Officer.
- Proficiency with security management systems such as DISS, NISS, and SIMS.
- Completion of the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives and guidelines for Sensitive Compartmented Information.
- Experience in Communications Security (COMSEC) account management.
- Understanding of ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements.
Work Environment: This position is designated for onsite work at a Lockheed Martin facility.
