Regents School of Austin seeks a skilled Woodwind Music Instructor to provide private lessons to our students. As a member of our Fine Arts Department, you will be part of a vibrant community that values artistic expression and excellence.



Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching flute, saxophone, and clarinet to students of various skill levels. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a love of music in your students, and providing constructive feedback to help them improve.



Responsibilities


  • Teach private lessons to students of various skill levels, including beginners and advanced players
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to individual students' needs and goals
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical interests
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school administrators to ensure a smooth and successful lesson experience
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of Fine Arts programs

Requirements


  • Experience teaching private flute, saxophone, and clarinet lessons to students of various skill levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
  • Availability to commit to a regular teaching schedule
