Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Scheduling Specialist to join our team at The Willows at Willard. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficient operation of our nursing services department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services in planning, developing, and implementing the nursing service department's programs and activities. This includes coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care, managing staffing levels, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective scheduling strategies to meet the needs of our residents and staff.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Health Services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to enhance our services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including attendance tracking, time-off requests, and performance evaluations.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Active LPN or RN license in Ohio.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with scheduling software, such as SmartLinx.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
