MD Staff, LLC is proud to offer an exciting locum tenens opportunity for a Board-Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist. This role provides a unique chance to provide expert care in a well-supported environment while maintaining a balanced work schedule.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: March 2025

• Duration: Ongoing through December 2025

• Schedule: Two weeks per month

• Daily Duties:

  • GI Lab: Perform 18-20 procedures per day (3 lab days per week)
  • Clinic: Manage 18-20 patient visits per day
Facility and Support

• Practice Setting: Outpatient-focused with call rotation

• Call Duties: Includes phone consults and potential admissions

• Support Staff: Full clinical team support, including APPs, RNs, and MAs

Required Skills and Experience

• Core Procedures:

  • Upper GI Endoscopy: Biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeders, and injection of varices
  • Lower GI Endoscopy: Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp removal

• Preferred Expertise:

  • ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • Small bowel and liver biopsies
Salary and Benefits
