Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trades Apprentice to join our team at the State of Louisiana. As a Trades Apprentice, you will assist a journeyman level tradesman and learn the trade through on-the-job training or formal instruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist a journeyman level tradesman in its assigned duties
  • Perform limited skilled tasks under close direction of a journeyman in an on-the-job training program
  • Participate in training as prescribed by an assigned journeyman or agency policy
Requirements
  • No experience or training is required
  • Must be willing to learn and develop skills in a trade
