Job Overview

Cambridge International Systems Inc is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing network architecture for new or existing computer systems, as well as providing problem and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert to network routing and switching, as well as network performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Review completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients.
  • Deploy and maintain network hardware, peripherals, services, and settings in accordance with industry standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Provides problem and incident resolution, including dealing with software and hardware vendor technical support.
Requirements
  • Must possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with: Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC, VMWare/Hypervisor, Windows Operating Environment, Design Documentation.
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or 8 years + of relevant experience.
  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
  • Technical Certifications required: Current CCNP Security.
Desired Qualifications
  • ITIL v4 Foundation.
  • Hands-on Experience implementing DISA mandate solution for Comply-to-Connect.
  • Hands-on Experience operating and/or migrating to IPv6 environment.
Travel Requirements
  • In some occasions, overnight travel may be required.
Physical Environment and Working Conditions

Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel, Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.

Office setting:

  • Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
  • Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
  • May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
