Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cranes under general supervision, adhering to safety standards.
  • Control crane movements by manipulating controls to adjust speed and direction based on instructions.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on cranes to ensure operational safety.
  • Identify and report any safety issues or equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of all equipment.
  • Document job performance and service quality through necessary paperwork.
  • Safely lift and position large machinery and materials at various sites.
  • Utilize outriggers and blocks to stabilize the crane during heavy lifts.
  • Adjust crane boom and load-line using levers and pedals for precise operations.
  • Assemble boom sections as required for specific lifting tasks.
  • Work within defined accuracy standards and operational limits.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards in the work environment.
  • Follow signals from riggers to ensure safe lifting practices.
  • Start and operate machinery using appropriate controls.
  • Maintain current certifications as required by industry regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: No specific educational requirements.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial setting is preferred.
