As a Server at Denny's, you will be the guest's connection to the diner. This means you will be an advisor, a mind-reader, and a friendly ear. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking food orders and keeping drinks filled.
  • Making sure guests' meals and their experience is as perfect as possible.
  • Serving guests with a warm friendly smile.
Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager, the Server will greet, seat, and service guests in a friendly and courteous manner. They will take and deliver orders, suggestively sell, receive payment, and assist other service personnel as needed to provide total guest satisfaction. The Server will also respond to and address guest concerns in a timely and courteous manner.

Physical Requirements:

The Server will be required to stand and walk approximately 85%-95% of their shift. They will also be required to lift and carry 10-65 lbs, move freely throughout the restaurant, and operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle.
