We are seeking a skilled Progressive Care Patient Care Technician to join our team at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and support to licensed professional nurses, ensuring a safe and effective environment for patients.
Responsibilities- Collect and report vital information on patients to contribute to their overall assessment and care plan.
- Implement direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, promoting patient-centered care and a healing environment.
- Administer or assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), perform vital signs, intake & output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention measures, urinary catheter care, phlebotomy, or point of care testing as requested.
- Collect clinical data and information on patients, and report changes in patient status to the nurse.
- Assist nurse with patient and family education, and document all patient care activities provided with correct medical terminology.
- High School Diploma or GED
- No experience required, but a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
