Media Production Trainee

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven students eager to maximize their internship experience. Candidates must be eligible for College credit to participate in this internship and must be at least 18 years old. Verification of credit will be provided.
As a production intern at Sinclair Broadcast Group, you will gain invaluable insights into the inner workings of our operations. This role will expose you to three key areas of production: Master Control, Directing, and Creative Services. Master Control serves as the operational hub of the station, managing all aspects of broadcasting, including news coordination, live event breaks, and content ingestion for airing. You will learn from our directors how to effectively utilize our Ross Overdrive system, ensuring that newscasts run smoothly and efficiently. In the Creative Services department, you will have the opportunity to edit promotional content and participate in on-location shoots.
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in mass communications, media, or a related field.
- Graduate students are welcome to apply.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Academic credit for the internship is required.
- Must be registered at your institution during the internship period.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Students entering their junior or senior year are preferred.
