Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in ensuring food safety and product quality through comprehensive microbiological and analytical testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Microbiological Analysis: Perform microbiological analysis of products, water, and environment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Analytical Testing: Conduct hands-on analytical testing, including titrations, HPLC analysis, and T.O.A analysis to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Sample Collection: Collect accurate samples for product testing and ensure proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct various analytical tests on energy drinks and other products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and calibration of all measuring devices and equipment to ensure reliable test results.
  • Production Support: Support production by reviewing batching sheets, ingredient labels, and regulatory documents, communicating with batching, production, and sanitation teams, and performing QA line checks every four hours.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree of science in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or related degree (no prior hands-on experience required).
  • Experience: Will accept an associate's degree with 6+ months of industry experience or no degree with 2+ years of laboratory hands-on testing experience.
  • Relocation: Will consider relocation candidates who have interest in this role.
