Wound Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound Care Specialist at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients with complex wounds and ostomies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with complex wounds and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers on wound management and prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices in wound care
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Valid and active RN licensure in the state of Virginia
- AHA BLS certification required; PALS and NRP certifications preferred
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
