Job Summary

As a key member of the California ISO team, the Operations Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the power grid. This position requires a strong understanding of system operations and the ability to analyze and implement changes to ensure operational preparedness and readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in change initiatives and projects that impact System Operators
  • Provide implementation support to ensure operational preparedness and readiness
  • Apply knowledge of System Operations to assess impacts on processes, job tasks, procedures, technology systems, and Business Practice Manuals (BPMs)
  • Act as a liaison between IT and Operations to coordinate and communicate change initiatives
  • Facilitate periodic procedure review processes and work with content owners and end users
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in requirements analysis or system testing
  • Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to use deductive reasoning and analytical thinking with sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
