Job Title: Gas Transportation Services Manager

At ONE Gas, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Transportation Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing contract administration, billing, nominating, balancing, measurement, accounting, and system administration for all gas transportation customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct, supervise, and perform gas transportation billing, balancing, and accounting to ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and contract requirements.
  • Monitor changes in contracts, company procedures, customer credit status and operating profiles, and governmental regulations; determine effect of changes and recommends modifications or alternative solutions to policies, procedures, or system requirements.
  • Interact and advise company employees, customers, marketers, vendors, and interstate pipeline representatives to coordinate billing activities and resolve billing inquiries.
  • Researches, analyzes, prepares, and monitors information including but not limited to: billing statements, balancing reports, month-end closing reports, measurement discrepancies, transportation contracts, rate tables, service riders and tariffs.
Requirements:
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, engineering or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability of gas industry terminology and operations including transmission, distribution, gathering, and compression.
  • Demonstrated ability in functional areas including transportation services, measurement, gas supply, rates, and IT.
  • Demonstrated ability of gas contract administration, industry standards, and applicable governmental regulations.
  • Experience with application of basic math and algebraic formulas used in spreadsheet applications.
  • Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
