Denver, Colorado, United States Palantir Technologies Full time
About Us
Palantir Technologies is a world leading software development company that focuses on building data-driven solutions for various industries. Our mission is to empower institutions to make better decisions by providing them with the right data.

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Forward Deployed Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with customers around the globe to design and develop end-to-end solutions that address their greatest pain points. Your primary responsibility will be to solicit constant feedback from customers and colleagues to improve our products through rapid iteration cycles.

The Role:
You will lead the way in developing groundbreaking technical solutions to solve our customers' hardest problems. This may involve high-level system design, prototyping, application development, and data integration. You will leverage everything around you, including Palantir products, open-source technologies, and anything your team can build to drive real impact.

Tech Stack:
We use a variety of technologies to deliver our solutions. These include Core Palantir products, custom applications built on top of core Palantir platforms, Postgres, Cassandra, Hadoop, and Spark for distributed data storage and parallel computing, Java and Groovy for back-end applications and data integration tools, Typescript, React, Leaflet, and d3 for web technologies, Python for data processing and analysis, and Palantir cloud infrastructure based on AWS EC2 and S3.

Our Principles:
We take on meaningful and challenging projects that change the world for the better. We see projects through from beginning to end in spite of obstacles we may encounter. We work internally with people from a variety of backgrounds, such as other engineers, product teams, and Deployment Strategists. We also work externally with our customers, often on site, to understand and solve their problems. We trust each other to effectively manage time and priorities, giving people the space to think for themselves. We push ourselves and our peers to improve themselves and the world around them. We learn together, often facing entirely novel problems where we need to pick up a lot of new information and learn how to use it to make progress.

Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $135,000 - $200,000/year.
