Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Nurse Extern to join our team at Summerville Medical Center. As a Nurse Extern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide adequate daily patient care and report information to Team Leader.
- Provide a safe and confidential environment for the patient.
- Accept accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, adhere to attendance policies, and utilize time and resources efficiently.
- Reflect the values of HCA Healthcare and our ethics and compliance principles in your daily activities.
- Commit to work 24 hours a month.
- Work 2 shifts as a PCT and then have the opportunity to work 1 shift shadowing an RN.
Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in an approved RN Program and completed Fundamentals of Nursing.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
