Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise staff to enhance productivity and maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.
- Complete necessary daily financial documentation and submit to the accounting department in a timely manner.
- Manage daily bank transactions and ensure accurate handling of ATM and Lottery funds.
- Maintain precise fuel inventory records and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of cashier and sales associate personnel.
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the store.
- Manage inventory orders and receive merchandise according to established guidelines.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain compliance documentation and oversee fuel supply levels, coordinating deliveries as necessary.
- Verify invoice accuracy to ensure correct vendor charges.
- Operate the store effectively in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Implement promotional initiatives as directed by the company.
- Ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Monitor inventory variations and control cash discrepancies within set limits.
- Review cashier documentation for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Maintain the store's image standards and address any maintenance or environmental issues promptly.
- Ensure effective communication with team members and customers.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential.
- Physical capabilities include frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
