We are actively seeking dedicated Paramedics who are committed to providing exceptional and empathetic medical services to our community. This role involves delivering both basic and advanced patient care in a variety of emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate each emergency call to determine the most effective response, adhering to established Paramedic protocols.
- Employ advanced medical techniques and equipment, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids, to ensure optimal patient care.
- Engage with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information regarding the care being administered.
- Lead the Paramedic team, overseeing scene management and unit operations as necessary.
- Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with other healthcare providers and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation and foster strong community ties.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid State Paramedic License.
- Current State Driver's License.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and NREMT-Paramedic credential.
- Driving record that meets company standards.
- Successful completion of a Physical Agility Test.
- Relevant work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
