Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing a broad range of vehicle repair issues to ensure proper performance and safety of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle automotive systems to identify and repair issues
  • Remove and reinstall transmission systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist other technicians in performing technical activities and provide support as needed
  • Communicate effectively with service writers and technicians to explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection
  • Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques to stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Accurately record findings to ensure accurate repair costs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in automotive repair and a minimum of 4 years' experience as a mechanic. You should possess excellent judgment and discretion, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.

You will also need to be a team player with a 'can-do' attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional atmosphere for employees, clients, and customers.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. You will also be required to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Work Environment
