About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing clients/patients/residents and designing occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents
  • Develop realistic therapy goals and administer appropriate occupational therapy programs
  • Provide education to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current research and utilize age-related treatments and evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of practice
  • Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) may be required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or obtained within the first 60 days of employment
