Applied Scientist II, NGDE Science

We are seeking an exceptional Applied Scientist to join our Next Generation Developer Experience (NGDE) Science team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building AI-based services for Amazon Q Developer, driving the delivery of end-to-end modeling solutions, and collaborating with software engineers to develop innovative cloud computing solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop AI-based services for Amazon Q Developer, leveraging machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Collaborate with software engineers to drive the delivery of end-to-end modeling solutions, ensuring seamless integration with AWS services.
- Conduct research and development in cloud computing, focusing on innovative solutions for developers.
- Work closely with the NGDE Science team to develop and deploy AI-powered tools and services for developers.
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field, with 4+ years of experience in building models for business applications.
- Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
- Programming skills in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
- Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing.
- Experience in deep learning, generative AI, and large language models.
- Experience in professional software development.
- Experience using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other machine learning frameworks.
