Applied Scientist II, NGDE Science

We are seeking an exceptional Applied Scientist to join our Next Gen DevX team at Amazon Web Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and deploying AI-based services for developers, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop innovative AI-based services for developers, utilizing machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Collaborate with software engineers to drive the delivery of end-to-end modeling solutions, ensuring seamless integration with AWS services.
- Conduct research and development in areas such as natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities, and develop strategies to address complex technical challenges.
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field, with 4+ years of experience in building models for business applications.
- Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
- Programming skills in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
- Experience in areas such as algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing.
- Experience in areas such as deep learning, generative AI, and large language models.
- Experience using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other machine learning frameworks.
