Job Overview

As a Shift Manager at Subway, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving high-quality food, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, controlling inventory, supervising staff, and being a team player.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and provide guidance to team members to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Manage inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Supervise staff, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure that all team members are working together effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives, and communicate these to team members.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive work environment, and promote a culture of teamwork and respect.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
